I think MRRC you forgot one fairly significant factor....they doubled their amount of gold....which is what the company is valued on. If they doubled the amount of shares and bought absolutely nothing, you might have a point.
I think the 70m shares that were bought yesterday at a higher price then the deal price, indicate an expectation of an increasing value of the company.
