An excellent move, and beneficial for both BTR and AME. I hold both, and I'm very happy with the merger.
BTR certainly have been one of the most active players in mergers and acquisitions with the KWR merger followed by Linden, and now the latest moves; probably all part of a well-planned strategy dreamed up at least 18 months ago.
SBM took a 10% stake in BTR fairly recently, and they have plenty of cash to start building a portfolio of Australian-based assets.
