So had 5 mins to spare this morning to do a high-level model of Idenburg 7Moz resource at the current gold price.
This is my guess work only, nothing to do with FEG and is full of non accurate high level assumptions and guesses. Not any financial advice. For novelty purposes only.
7Moz recoverable at 90%, 15 year mine life, $1B usd capex, current gold price, AISC USD $872 per oz and $50M USD sustaining capex every year of production gives
NPV8 = $5,355,513,262 AUD
IRR = 47%
