Where did I say anything about them changing their rules? USA have always required clinical trials, another hurdle that SAMR doesn't have.
USA have also always massively subsidised its domestic suppliers through the WIC program, and levied high tariffs on imported infant formula. It is probably the most anti-competitive IF market anywhere in the world. Even after the temporary enforcement discretion it doesn't look like much of that will change. BUB has done well to progress this far but I don't hold high hopes for the profitability of the market for any company that receives permanent access.
