In 2014 Old Pirate was a viable mining proposition, ( that was if it had been mined properly, which it wasn't )Also if the company ABU had stuck to the original plan of treating the ore onsite with the established gravity crushing & mill circuit then the profits would have come rolling in. That didn't happen due to some skullduggery by the BOD. Now to the present, the price of gold in AUD has soared, but mining costs have gone through the roof & the isolated nature of the deposits means that transport of consumables & infrastructure are also sky high. So it is beyond my pay grade to know whether the OP & GH deposits are now still viable. One thing i do know after a very expensive lesson is that the BOD & those behind the scenes are not capable of running ANY mining operation.
