You're assuming what they're saying is genuine, which it's not.

I'm all for completing a scoping study to develop a mine, in fact mining studies are essential to a mine's development. The problem is though, they have no intention of developing this to production, and this is just another time waster to keep angry shareholders at bay so it looks like they're doing something, all the while collecting their pay cheques.

These spec miners are a dime a dozen and if you're around long enough you'll spot them quickly. Unfortunately this one fooled me.
