Basically, it looks as if a low capital option of heap leaching the Buccaneer ore exists (subject to more testing/studies etc.). This could enable them to keep the Tanami full of high grade ore, heap-leach the lower grade Buccaneer ore and thus produce more ounces without significant capital outlay.
I am not a fan of heap leach but if they use this, the additional cash generated plus the time to develop a longer term strategy and possibly a mill to treat all ore without the long cart distance, it could be a good thing. If they do this, they will likely re-treat the heaps and get the additional recovery - the reason I am a bit iffy about heap leach (plus the environmental issues)
