Buccaneer is a porphyry gold project with low gold grades (~0.5-1g/t) and very low copper and silver. It does not have any high grade intersections and only a few of the low grade zones are near-surface. The nearby Old Pirate has some good surface material and is a plunging saddle reef system.
I was at the Mines and Money conference last year in Beijing and also at Hong Kong, at one of them ABU had a stand. I spent some time there talking to Darren about Buccaneer. The concept then was that the grades were increasing with depth as shown by assays from previous drilling. Recent drilling has shown a much more complex picture.
ABU has some very interesting projects that have only been partly tested.
