I saw a media article that said he was well suited to the job. It is good that there is early notice too, so things seem well planned.

One thing I do wonder about is if Rod Jones is confident in the future of the business or not, obviously he will say he is confident, and it is a great business. He will have a window next year where he will not be a director or officer (from my read) which will make it easier for him to divest some of his position if he wishes to. Will be interesting to see if he takes advantage of that or not.
