until the WA Government resumes the land needed for the Cape Preston port and gives it to the Pilbara Port Authority we will agree to disagree.
The Dampier Port Authority "Port Development Guidelines" also talk about Cape Preston East. It talks about Area D that has to be surrendered by Mineralogy under the terms of a State Agreement to give road access to the port. Has that area been surrendered yet. The Department of Mines Tengraph plan still shows Area D being held by Mineralogy. It doesn't appear that the land has been surrendered.
Maybe the lease was signed because the Dampier Port Authority was being absorbed into the Pilbara Port Authority. Who knows. Too many questions for me.
