Good news and about time. The market is hotting up and LifX is too expensive now.
Sengled and Mirrabella both have wifi lights much cheaper and available in Woolies as well....albeit Sengled requires a hub.
An old player with a new product is Osram. Osram have a Smart Home starter kit in Bunnings now with 2 wifi lights and 2 wifi power plugs for $49.95. This is a significant price difference to Lifx and Philips.
The Osram display in Bunnings is highly visible and Osram is a major player in lighting. They will be stocked everywhere pretty quickly because they are so well established in the industry.
As I said....the market for IOT devices is getting stronger as people want to use their Amazon echo's and Google Home's for lighting control and power options.
