Very nice looking product, both in the hardware and the user interface & dashboard. I'm also very impressed with the speed at which they were able to conceptualize, design, manufacture, and deliver to their first customers. Dave says it took around three months which is extremely quick for a hardware product and really highlights what an incredible team he has built. So congrats to Team Buddy, well done.
I really like how they made it super user friendly and idiot proof. Just take it out of the box and turn it on. Also a simple pricing plan combined with a simple sales pitch of "buy this service and we can help you save money." The market for such a service is large and I'm sure the sales team is going to be staying busy in 2017.
Also, after seeing this I'm very glad that Buddy made the decision to walk away from the Noveda deal. This sounds like a much better alternative for the company.
So between Buddy Ohm, Parse on Buddy, and Buddy Platform, all of which are generating revenue, 2017 is looking pretty good.
