Buffalo is not fully written off yet. Even if it does, lets not forget how world class Dorado is and it has already been stated banks are lining up to fund Dorado, and the size and quality of Dorado has not diminished just because Buffalo wasn't as big as expected.
Also even if CVN tech staff got it wrong with Buffalo, do you really think STO tech staff just said hey CVN guys what do you think lets drill somewhere? No they are the operator for Pavo/ Apus not CVN and have a lot more skin in the game ensuring they are drilling in the right spot so no point comparing Buffalo to Pavo/Apus
