Hmmm ........ the “lithostratigraphic prognosis” guestimate for the Anderson had it transitioning to the upper Laurel 2,500m and it turns out to be +3,400m.
As Maxwell Smart would say: “Missed it by that much”
Not sure if that’s due to sloppy workmanship or lack of regional data.
Hopefully CVN has a successful Bedout drilling campaign which rightly or wrongly will have an impact on its little neighbour to the NE.
Buffalo seems to be a difficult beast to fathom. There was a rodeo bull called “chainsaw” that was difficult to ride.
Maybe buffalo should be renamed chainsaw
I guess they persisted in farming it out because they always had that gut feeling it “could be” a bit disappointing.
