Agree entirely.
Beginners make errors seasoned operators don’t. Sole parties make errors JVs don’t. Fools tread where angels fear to tread.
The risks are high enough that large, experienced operators with seasoned in house cynics and troubleshooters don’t often go it alone. Yet people suggest a small, lean, underfunded company with no relevant experience should take sole risk with funds it doesn’t even have. Talk about rocks in heads.
