… so older South Africans with the sense to get vaccinated aren’t catching the new variant, so contrary to media scare stories, current vaccines probably still work, or at worse can be easily tweaked like your annual influenza shot, meanwhile, nobody knows if omicron is any more transmissible, and more virulent or any higher mortality. Or the exact opposite. Oh, some folks in Botswana also caught it first. Markets and POO sold off first, asked questions later. Wtf.
