Yes, China have been in Africa for a bit now.
I was working in Angola back in 2007. The Chinese were building roads over there then. It was harder to tell who was crazier, the Chinese or the Africans.

Australia went to East Timor once too.. Does anyone remember the East Timor conflict in 1999?
