Certainly possible. But perhaps they wish to alert shareholders to another layer of interest which has not really been of interest in the J #1 well.

The fact that there is about 10 feet of some hydrocarbon shows is worth tossing out to shareholders to maintain a bit of interest.
Probably also indicating that the drilling has been more expensive than previously hoped therefore they will need a bit of money coming in from the issue..... please !
