I am a consultant, I follow these matters closely. I invested in LPE after they exited the on-market sector. These developments are quite significant.

They exited the on-market sector as a market participant, not as an authorised retailer. These are different things. The hedge relates to how LPE buys electricity, not how it sells electricity.

So my question is, where have the customers gone and who is supplying them? Because if they're under the billing service only contract, they're low value as Berserker points out. To have value, the customer needs to be an LPE customer and we need a contract with the body corporate for 5-10 years.

If LPE are still billing the customer directly, they are not exempt, and they are not doing so under a retail authority - trouble is ahead. Worse still, its already happened.
