Is cxxt when a broker sells amongst themselves? I.e. from one client to another? That's what I read somewhere.

Anyway, what happens each time is that when there's a good run of buys, someone will come in with a cross-trade at a half pip or full pip lower to put a cap on the exuberance, it seems. It happens every time and has been happening for many, many months.

Also it has been a common occurrence for a very small cxxt on a Friday afternoon to end the week lower (that has been less common in recent times). Also, for a while there whenever there was a run of buys 0.002s, a tiny cxxt would happen at 0.0015 to bring the price down to 0.001 (on commsec at least) and scare the bejeepers out of ppl. I don't know about anyone else but I can't buy $5 worth of shares, particularly at the mid-point!

ppl who have held for a while can predict when a cxxt will happen. Its like clockwork. Beause of the pattern of cxxts I've always assumed that the person/ppl doing it on this stock are trying to keep a cap on the price. But i'm open to alternate theories by the more experienced amongst us.
