An interesting comparison is Perseus Mining's new project in Nyanzaga, Tanzania, where the government interest is 20%. From an investor perspective that may seem a big high, however if I was on the government side then of course I'd want more of a cut of the resources of my own country. I think the 10% selloff in WAF today is overdone but Mrs. Market will be the final arbiter of price, as always.
