When RED got into trouble. The White Knight came in the form of R. Finlayson (of SAR back then. GMD these days). Who sold RED Darlot/KOTH for a measly sum of $20m. Not bad for 3.1Moz of gold.
Not sure who is willing to lend a hand these days. I can think of a few gold assets in Australia that are in mothball these days that are in need of some TLC.
