The Russians were invited into the Sahel countries unlike the western Colonialists who invited themselves into Africa and then installed their puppets to run the governments while enriching these puppets and stripping the countries of their resources. Leaders of the Sahel countries have become more educated and have had enough of the corrupt behavior of western colonialism. Expect more countries in the Sahel to join BF, Niger and Mali especially if the economic benefits are visual. It will not be an easy road as the colonialists are not going to give up without a fight, and they use insidious tactics.
Going forward is whats important in how these governments manage their resources and more importantly their finances because if they don't manage their finances properly and legally then external investment will collapse and so will the country. So far so good.
The price of gold will continue to rise because the western world is collapsing and a full blown revolt is picking up steam to move away from the American rules based order, and their weaponised dollar where they make the rules and you follow their orders or else. So gold is being sought and bought in record numbers and will no doubt continue to do so. Unhedged well positioned miners will be making big dough and if these governments decide they want a bigger slice of the pie then depending on the size it shouldn't be a problem. Resources are finite.
This is the beginning of multipolarity across the globe. We should all wish for its success.
