My take is the mining license change is to stop the companies sitting on assets and doing nothing. I recall about a year ago Sarama (SRR) lost their license, possibly due to slow progress on a decent deposit frustrating the government, although we don’t truely know. I would assume that reducing license timeframes removes the need for the government to do what they dId to SRR, which I believe is ending in arbitration claim. now.
