I see. Thanks for clarifying. I have actually done passive seismic myself a couple times. One for palaeochannels and another looking for sheet like rock bodies in a placer environment. It works well and is super cheap, but the resolution is not fantastic. We were looking for things in the top 50m and they were pointing out bedrock down at 600m, so it needs testing and calibrating.
It should work well for flat lying pegmatites and finding offsets to map faults. But it may not yield ASX worthy announcements. Ir should guide drilling though and can definitely be put into the leapfrog model.
It won't work well for vertical bedding which most of the stratigraphy in the area is.
