Obviously Raphael is a game changer and the Seismic underway will give us a sneak peek at the size of the Reservoir with hopefully enough clarity to put a number on its resource with better confidence. For me the exciting things to consider are the 2 stage business plan which has been clearly enunciated by Thomas Nador. The new floating jetty at Broome Port now under construction which gives us a 90 kilometre drive (instead of 900 klms) to a port with LNG and liquids (condensate) in the trucks. This will increase the nett return to Buru.
But I can help thinking that Ungani was estimated to hold 19 million barrels of oil and we have produced around 2 million barrels of oil - so there is still life in that field even if hydrocarbons are on the nose. And that is not factored into this miserable share price.
These are my recollections so do your own investigations and someone out there may be able to put some more accurate figures on it.
