Blina is a reefal reservoir and likely water drive (carbonates are never certain and I have not looked at Blina for decades so could be off here).
If so secondary recovery is small since the pressure is maintained naturally by the base water.
Additional oil however could be had from primary oil not yet swept and/or additional pods of reservoir that we not connected to the well bore by unperfed zones or zones with reservoir damage which can be 'unplugged'.

Normally optimum production is keeping the perfs high in the zone away from water and finding a pump rate that sweeps the most oil and produces the least water. More of an art than a science - so many downhole variables.

Below is a depositional schematic of a typical reef facies showing some of the possible complexities. Bu Hasa in Abu Dhabi has reserves of 6+ Billion barrels and flows 600,000 bopd.

As an optimist I believe that the Canning has more oil to give and surely Blina is not the only Devonian Reef to be found. However, as Heinlein said, 'the Moon is a Harsh Mistress'.
