They have also let a few other senior people, with a great deal of experience, go. Not just “experience” but the defence experience they say they are chasing.
The mind absolutely boggles. In essence all I see is “we don’t have faith in the knowledge and experience of our people, which is what we hired them for to begin with, so we are going to let them go. This will allow us to hire the same type of people, who look better on paper.
My recent mail from the weekend is, they have asked some to consult back in, to help get some things over the line. Can’t be 100% on the validity, but I certainly would not be surprised if that was the case.
