Agree. More so than in other industries, events like this are a buying opportunity. Whereas there’s usually something structurally wrong when other business run into trouble, with insurers it tends to be something that gets sorted out in a couple of years. It’s been a long wait for QBE, but I do believe that given some better luck it will be shown that the current share price is undervalued. Green shoots may be appearing...rising interest rates for the float, premium growth. QBE is a good straw hat to buy in winter, and I think it’s snowing at the moment.
