They make the cut from the client - interest on the loan
It's short term 3-12 months usually and seems convenient.
They collect $150 establishment fees as well and take a cut on the credit card fees if client pays with it.
There's more info in the financial info section of the prospectus.
Would accounting and legal forms promote it? YES, because they get paid in full and won't need to worry about chasing clients for money, i.e. make it someone else's problem and probably even bill clients more.
Would clients use it? Depends, I'd say there's a strong market for it. If faced with huge bills (which is usually the case anyway) not every client can quickly dip hands in pockets and pay in full. The average Joe has no savings. Would they put it on the credit card? At 20% interest maybe not. Would they go to the bank? Maybe not, longer, more stressful process, higher rates for similar unsecured loans
