    And here seems to be the nub of the problem. Ramy has been getting $300k for a decade based on the initial idea of rotary veering the banana stems. There has been no other extra innovation since then; and veneering has never produced a succesful product anyway. Every brilliant scheme - paper, door skins, dashboards, floor and wall panels and tiles (using veneered then chipped fibre) pallets (also using veneered then chipped fibre); and all the rest, have relied on the idea that veneering has a useful purpose.

    The whole company agenda relies on veneering..... if we end up simply processing pulp in a shredder then the whole ($300k a year) agenda has been blind alley.

    Look, don't get me wrong- I hope remaining shareholders find there is a fortune yet to be made; thing is I am now not one of those shareholders!!
