The question is, was it a cross trade from the seller to a genuine buyer, or was it a cross trade between the seller and the shorting group? The second scenario would involve the short seller taking shorts, then buying it back off market from the seller.
The first scenario would involve shorters probably having to cover soon.
Either way, finally a good explanation for the recent share price drop.
