I care about what earning could be in 2030 or 2035. which is very highly related to revenue and revenue growth and basically zero correlation to todays earnings which will be up and down by 10's or 100's of % each quarter.
why would I care about todays profit in an immature company with plenty of cash. boggles the mind. in the end they'll either win or lose. what i'd like is for them to spend that cash in an attempt to win.
