I was impressed with their ability to pull off a decent result for this mess so far. If it's just a $1 million reduction, then that is pretty good. (geez yes I know that sounds bad what I proclaim, but holders know what i mean) It does look like an issue with the quality of training for a few courses, so I am not happy with that though. They have been able to effectively negotiate a favourable outcome so far....but the story has further to go.
Whether or not Victoria and NSW come back to the party (which is part 2 of this saga) , then I am actually not so fussed. I mean annual contracts is going to make this really hard long term. They will need to make some tough decisions sooner or later.
Keeping this in voluntary suspension is good. It keeps the SP afloat. A decent resolution of the matters and some future direction hopefully will stop the SP getting smashed a lot further. We all just want to see some stability and direction. One good thing about having a majority holder is that they are the ones who stand to lose a lot, and not just the money. They have a vested interest to get it back on track.
