IMO it's pretty unlikely that they will have sufficient cash to take LD into commercial production without another CR. By my calculations (and their sales graphs) they will only have sufficient cash to last them to about the middle of CY2021 but if at that time they have commercial contracts, a viable products and some adequate revenue coming through the door to show they have a good prospect of becoming viable in the near term, feel that another CR will be on the cards. If those prospects are genuine and stand up to commercial scrutiny I would be happy to contribute more; it's all a matter of reducing the risk and and having confidence that they are at last really going to be commercially viable. Another booster would be if something came out of one of the many "collaborations" we have been sold on over the (many) years, all of which have so far fizzled out (unfortunately a large credibility gap to overcome). For LD the chances may well be better since they should have a viable product to meet end user needs rather than a tool for suppliers of those needs; who are likely to remain with their sunk investment until they are forced (by competitive pressure) to abandon their existing tools.
