One thing many seem to be missing is that although over 100 million shares were sold today also over 100 million were bought. Selling pressure comes from various sources - margin calls, exiting and hoping to pick up cheaper, panicking etc. but the only reason for those buying today was they thought it represents excellent value. This why some stocks get way oversold and savvy traders do very well when there is panic selling.
Yes, the report was disappointing but hardly deserving of the current sell down as most posters agree it has been trading below fair value for months.
So those in for the medium to long haul should do very well if they buy at today's prices.
