Ashley Services interim CEO quits
Ashley Services Group CFO Paul Brittain, who has been acting in the CEO role since former chief Stewart Cummins resigned in September, has tendered his resignation.
The company also announced to the ASX today that two of its RTO businesses had contracts with a NSW Government department terminated as a result of findings that "contract events of default" had occurred.
The RTOs dispute the findings and have instructed lawyers to "vigorously oppose" the department's actions.
As a result of the contract terminations and a further unresolved matter with a Victorian government department, the board will engage a third party to undertake a review of the company.
Brittain will continue in his current roles until February 2017 to implement recommendations from the review.
