I genuinely don't know, I track all dairy stocks and comment on some but not all, this is one I watch but am not close to, haven't looked into the accounts, the governance, the strategy or the markets they pursue and have no exposure to BAL. They have taken a tough hit today due to the announcement and some may say they knew it was coming and others may differ. My view is the announcement was a big hit for the market to swallow and perhaps a trading halt could have been warranted. As for a buy yet? I would sit out the current angst and see where the price settles to and let others play the current short term volatility. If a holder then sit it out is my view or accumulate on panic if that's your thing.
