The training isn't worth zip, becasue they still have contracts in other states and we also don't know the value of this enigmatically worded new contract. Vic and NSW state contracts are pretty much worth zip though as there simply aren't any however they still earn 23% of revenue (according to their preso) as 'fee for service'. The other thing is that they are still training people already enrolled and they don't have to pay back Vic, so this could of been a hell of a lot worse.
Class action? A decent chance in my view is that either nothing will happen or there is a settlement out of court.
Labor hire looks like it might be pulling in about 2 million a qtr, which is a saving grace so surely they want to fish where the fish are?
It's a painful exit, but in my view the training divisions should focus on govt contracts thathave longer term periods.
Don't get me wrong, i'm still mightily **** off at this situation, but we are probably going to get out of this as it stands.
