I can't argue with the logic there. None of these corporates will have an idea what AI can do for them so the trial is a cheap way to understand. FGO did say no more paid trials for future business, so would be interested to see who that applied to.
Maybe another reason why they have a new 'consultancy' revenue stream to stop this kind of thing happening again.
