I think the underpinning rule to remember as you run out of toilet paper is that the community at large is not suddenly eating more, they're just storing more and the Just in Time processes attached to supply chains are struggling to stay abreast of the demand. I think that only a small percentage of people are panicking, the majority by now are just trying to store 14 days worth of food based upon suggestions by politicians a few weeks back. This is a substantial adjustment to supply as many people (I think) are used to storing a few days supplies only. And going out to restaurants now seems risky. The demands will flatten out and then reduce as the virus nervousness disappears. I'm not a current holder in this company that disappointed me a few times over, but I think they're the beneficiary of the current buying excesses. They don't have a track record that would support any other theory that I can think of. I'm not suggesting that this business can't turn its fortunes around. I just don't think this is their "fortune turning" moment although they will get some advantage if they can grab a share of the "eating in" component that replaces the eating out reductions.
