Gilead plans to invest $1B in 2020 for remdesivir manufacturing. Process to get approval as a treatment for COVID-19 costing tens of millions, but US taxpayers footing the bill for that.
Perhaps the opportunity before us with hinokitiol on top of everything else warrants a significant capital raise. $50m in a Nasdaq IPO for 10% of the company? This would also solve the stock's liquidity issue, imo.
