The dividends and free cash flow that shareholders have become accustomed to will evaporate under all of that major capex$$$ divided by smaller production volume.However at $2.30 and $4.2bn market cap, much of that might be now priced in.
Tentative buy if I could adjust sentiment to that. Disappointing Held position if I could adjust to that as well.
Lesson learned, dwindling production number forces board/CEO/COO to reach price wise for a asset out of their jurisdiction and out of their core of competence. SBM did the same thing with Atlantic Gold and it worked out the same as EVN's Redlake (so far). Hopefully Jake is right, it is still a work in progress, just a little bit more delayed this time.
