Despite the post being somewhat antagonistic. There is some truth in it, offsetting the majority that isnt worth commenting on.
I agree, You do want a generally optimistic management and board, but this should be tempered by a strong eye to valuation.
Dont reach for growth, just for growth sake.
Incentives drive business founders/CEOs towards mergers and acquisitions. Many KPIs reward size rather than profitability.
They don’t get rewarded for standing still, activity for the sake of activity and growth for growth sake doesn't help anyone.
Devil makes work for idle thumbs, Especially type A competitive personalities.
They overestimate their golden touch ability to improve any company they want.
