I am assuming there is (a) a need to progress it, maybe to try and push val, and (b) a restriction on any buyer around new equity issue, or simply dilutionary value, hence issued as debt, and hence the cost.. Just a hunch, but I'd be disappointed if this lot doesn't close a deal RE. takeover this month.
