In 2022, which is the latest statistic available, in that year there were almost 79,000 trade mark applications with IP Australia, with 56% coming from Australian resident companies. So others can't brand or call their product/solution "Connect QR" in Australia, but if can in other countries where YPB hasn't registered the the name, they can.
