From the ann, its not a wear part, not a spare part, specially fabricated?, & failure was 'unexpected and unusual'.
We also know they had issues with higher than expected clay content, but that was resolved through a new scalping screen in front of the crusher. The scrubber/logwasher is after the crusher.
Any guesses what this failed part may be? Belt rip? Gearbox failure? Cracked shaft? Screen mesh damage?
Whatever it is, its enough to stop the plant.
