Rock and a hard place though I feel.
Indonesian nickel supply can be ramped up further if they wanted to. so how long the nickel price stays low is anyone's guess.
Unless green supply chains become relevant and people are willing to pay more for it (in this current climate I highly doubt) we could be waiting for a very long time.
Honestly the only thing i can see changing the nickel story in the near term is going to be a climate event or natural disaster (indonesia is highly seismic and doesn't mind a volcano/tidal wave/volcanic eruption or two. None of which I would like to see happen, but sometimes s#$t just does happen.
I definitely understand your wish for the register not to be blown apart though.
Just gotta cross the fingers that they stumble on something good while they are kicking rocks for gold.
