Mate ,I will never forget the Pristine waters of Crescent Head when I dropped by in 1975 for an early surf 4ft and glassy turqouise waters
Dropped by again in 2001 , the river was Cow Sh..t chocolate brown as was the surf break,definite health hazard for anyone foolish enuf to paddle out.. Wasted visit haven\t been back..
