BUYBACK: AIR: Notification of Acquisition of Securities
For the purposes of Listing Rule 7.12.1 of the NZSX Listing Rules, this
notice concerns those securities in Air New Zealand Limited ("Air NZ") that
have been acquired on market by Air NZ. Details of the acquisition are as
follows:
a) Class of security and ISIN: Ordinary shares (NS) ISIN NZAIRE0001S2
b) Number of securities acquired: 215,000 (to be held as Treasury Stock)
c) Average consideration per security acquired: $1.2881
d) Payment in cash: Yes
e) Any amount paid up (if not in full): Not applicable
f) Percentage of total class of securities acquired: 0.0195%
g) Reason for acquisition: The Board of Air NZ decided to undertake the share
buyback as it believes that the current share price does not fairly reflect
the underlying value of Air NZ's shares.
